Mildred's Story
Life
I have been married to the same great guy for 23 years. We have four great daughters. We also have three grandchildren. We recently moved out of New York City, after my battle with breast cancer (which incidently I WON!!!). We purchased a home in Orange County. After teaching 15 years in the NYC school system, I now teach in Orange County. A complete change, but a very welcomed one!!
College
I don't have any wild stories from my college years. My college years were very low key at Fordham University (CLC) (BA) and at Long Island...Expand for more

Workplace
I went from flipping burgers at McDonalds during my years at Irving to working on Delancey Street during my years at Fordham. I progressed to an elementary education school teacher in the field of ESL and Bilingual ED. However, I'm not done. I still have a lot more to accomplish. My intentions are to pursue my doctorate in education.
My career includes 15 years of teaching on the Lower East Side of Manhattan to my current position of a bilingual teacher of 3 years in Orange County.
